You are my biggest fan.

The first impression of our home was this 1980’s ceiling fan in the entryway that hovered over us like a pterodactyl waiting to pounce. The thing took up the entire room.

I knew there had to be other options than the gold, big paddle, tulip light fixtures.

And ta daaaaa, there are! There is a whole world of non offensive ceiling fans.

We bought these two fans online from Home Depot that are simple, have style and are affordable.

If I could do it over again,  I would probably get a fan sans light. The built-in lighting is not great and we never use that function. And you know how I feel about lighting from my “Blinded by the Light “ post.

And if you are willing to spend more dough, you can get fans that look like a piece of art.

Big Ass Fans have interesting industrial designs (and you gotta love the name).
