You already saw my old dresser all dolled up with its new pulls in this post, but I was debating painting it like this:

And then there are the curtains. Don’t get me started on that decision making process. We installed a double rod so we can have a layered effect, but since the walls are so dark it has been challenging finding light panels that are not glaring yet provide privacy. After sampling many curtains courtesy of West Elm and Ikea, I decided to just make my own. Lucky for me there is a fabric store down the street where I found a beautiful linen material and enough to make 4 long panels.

Stay tuned for the complete transformation. Just waiting for this cold weather to pass so we can oil the wood pieces outside.
